Likes: The man sure does love his liquor, however he is responsible to a point. He also likes the feel of the sea wind on his wings, a good company, and jokes. Hades loves jokes, which brings contrary to the nature of the person he had named himself after. He loves teasing his little sister, Xion.

Dislikes: Because he once tried to be a knight, he does have chivalrous roots, so no beating on a woman in his presence. He doesn't like any rude comments towards his brogue, roots, or sister.

Personality: Despite his trade, Hades still is a easy going, cheerful man. He keeps a smile always on his face, to mask the inner desires inside. However, Hades can be a cruel man if needed. His pokemon is the lethal Hydreigon after all.

History:

The Rocs were a clan that breeded warriors. If you wanted a meal, you had to fight for it. The living expectancy was low. The oldest man their was in his late forties. Therefore, orphans were many. Here, they lived amongst the strongest of the Dragon Pokemon. Each warrior had their own companion, and together they fought to the death.

However one thing was clear: Fusion was forbidden. Despite the closeness of your bonds, a fusion or Gijinka were seen as an abomination.

Hades was born to their Chief, a man with many scars and claimed the largest booty. His wife was a Cetlic priestess that tended to the land's sacred places. Since birth, Hades knew only battle. Softness was a weakness. By ten summers, he already earned his sword.

As was his duty, Hades now had to choose a mount amongst the dragons that made their nests in the mountains. Searching, he was challenged by an older Hydreigon. Usually, his teachers would have intervened and driven the pokemon away, but when he looked into those eyes, Hades knew this was his mount.

They fought for three days without rest, each picking at their weakness and trying to bring the other down. At the end of their battle, they knew the other inside out, and the ceremony was complete.

Usually, the warriors were dispatched throughout the kingdom of Cyndonias, where the Dragon Knights dwelled. At fifteen, Hades was groomed to join them. However, just then, his mother went into labor two months early and a daughter was born, small, sickly, and frail. For what seemed like years, mother and daughter danced between life and death, until finally his mother gave Hades an order that would prove their undoing. She told him to search for a Deino pup.

Confused, Hades rode his mount, to whom he had named Cereberus, to find a Deino pup. Once he stealthed one away, he returned to his mother's deathbed. She pointed the Deino towards her daughter, her orders clear, then died. Horrified, Hades did not know what to do. Just then, his father entered the room and seeing his wife dead, let out a howl of sorrow. Hades went to his father and then he saw the Deino pup.

"Why have you brought that here?" the Chief demanded.

"Father... it was mother's wish to..." he couldn't finish.

With a disgusted oath, the Chief slammed his fist to the wall, and gave a clear order.

Do it.

With gently coaxing, the Deino fused with his sister and the baby was saved. The last thing his father gave them was a name, a name for the thing that used to be his daughter. Xion. Then he ordered his son to leave the Isles and leave the baby somewhere, fully disowning his own child.

Horrified, Hades tried to reason with his father. The Chief and his Son argument reigned loud in the halls and soon word spread that the awaited child was now fused with a Deino, becoming an abomination. A coup was established by the Chief's rival and soon chaos swept through the Isles, fighting for rule of the Clan.

The Chief's last words to his son was to leave with the baby and never come back, while he fought to establish control over the warring warriors. With one last look, Hades saddled Cereberus and tried to flee to the mainland.Before they could leave the ground, a sneak attack brought Hades down. Looking up, he saw his own rival, a devious man by the name of Torque who rode a Salamence mount. The two fought and it was Cereberus that saved his life, driving Torque over the edge and the killing falls below.

Wounded, and half blind, Hades sat and cradled his baby sister, whose wailing was sure to bring more warriors his way. Cereberus looked at his friend. Hades stared right back. They placed their foreheads together and became what was forbidden; they became one. Hades stretched out his new wings and with Cereberus's strength, flew from his birthplace and towards the mainland. He flew and flew until he collapsed at the gates of Tunlio. There, he used his warrior skills to become a mercernary, raising enough money and goods to raise his sister and give her a good home. She does not know of their lineage and to this day, Hades has not enlightened her. All he would say was..

"Ma loved you enough to die for you."

Additional Info:

++Hades is a name he took on when he became a mercenary. He will not say his real name, claiming that he forgot it.

++Hades and Cereberus act like one, though there are times when Hades would stand alone, appearing to be having a conversation with a dear friend.

++Hades speaks with a scottish brogue.

++His sister Xion is now a thirteen year old Deino Gijinka. She is trying to learn the lute to become a bard and help her brother in paying for their expenses.
